    Founded

    Resilience Technologies is founded to close the digital resilience gap facing African civil society.

  2. 2023

    Shaping global governance at the Internet Governance Forum, Kyoto

    Resilience Technologies brings African digital risk realities to the international stage at the 18th annual Internet Governance Forum in Kyoto, Japan. Represented by our Digital Security Associate, RT engages with over 5,000 global participants to shape critical discussions on the future of technology, civil society and global internet governance.

  3. 2024

    First Spyware Fellowship

    RT builds and launches Africa’s first homegrown Spyware Fellowship, training a new generation of researchers in forensic investigation and case documentation.

    The RT-10 Resilience Model

    Based on deep-dive research with CSOs across six countries (Uganda, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Tanzania), RT engineers its flagship digital resilience model. Built specifically for African civil society, it evaluates 18 risk areas across 130 questions to determine the most cost-effective, contextually relevant cybersecurity interventions. It is evidence-backed.

    Unveiling RT-10 at the Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum

    Resilience Technologies takes the stage at DRIF24 in Accra to officially present the proprietary RT-10 framework to the regional community.

    Zeroth Cloud on the Global Stage.

    Resilience Technologies presents Zeroth Cloud at DRIF25 (Digital Rights and Inclusion Forum), showcasing our proprietary threat management infrastructure to the international digital rights community.

    Continental expansion

    RT expands from a West Africa focus to a sub-Saharan African footprint, extending its work to Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Kenya, Zambia and beyond.

  9. 2026

    Founding a consortium

    Resilience Technologies leads the founding of the continent’s first pan-African spyware accountability consortium, turning individual investigations into coordinated, continent-wide accountability.

    Funded to scale

    Resilience Technologies secures grant funding from recognised international partners, backing the continued build-out of its research and response infrastructure.

    Strategic trainings and partnerships

    Resilience Technologies is the digital security training partner of choice for leading institutional actors. In an ongoing partnership with the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) we deliver recurring regional resilience training, and we have collaborated with The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) to secure justice innovators across Africa.

    Our authority in the digital resilience space is continually validated by leading regional and global platforms. Team CommUNITY profiled our Spyware Fellowship as a pioneering “African-centered response to escalating surveillance”, and the Nigeria Media Innovation Program cited RT as a core authority in “How Newsrooms Can Enhance Their Digital Security”.
