Who we are

Africa’s authority on digital resilience.

We are the institution shaping how the continent understands, governs and responds to digital risk for the organisations doing its most vital work.

The organisations defending rights, holding power to account and protecting communities across Africa are also among the most digitally exposed, and the least resourced to change that. We built RT to close that gap, bringing together technical expertise, programmatic rigour and strategic communications into solutions designed for the realities of the African civil society landscape, not adapted from elsewhere.

Meet the team

Resilience Technologies is led by a multidisciplinary team bringing together expertise across cybersecurity, digital policy, communications, operations, and technology.

Our leadership combines experience across government, civil society, technology, strategic communications, cybersecurity, finance, operations, academia, and international development, with a shared focus on strengthening digital resilience across Africa.

    Elizabeth Kolade

    Executive Director

    Executive Director and Co-founder, leading RT’s strategic direction, institutional development, and expansion across Africa.

    As Executive Director and Co-founder of Resilience Technologies, Elizabeth Kolade leads the organization’s strategic direction, institutional development, and expansion across Africa. Her work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity operations, digital policy, and international cyber cooperation.

    Elizabeth brings over a decade of experience spanning government, the private sector, civil society, and academia, including previous experience as a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) Lead. At Resilience Technologies, she has led the organization through critical growth phases, developed international partnerships, and supported its expansion beyond Nigeria into broader regional engagements.

    Her research and analysis on cybersecurity and digital policy have been published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Journal of Cyber Policy. She has contributed to international policy discussions and forums including the UN Open-Ended Working Group, UNIDIR, the ITU WSIS Forum, the European Union Institute for Security Studies, and academic policy dialogues at King’s College London and the University of Bath.

    Anthony Sule

    Director of Security and Innovation

    Co-founder and Director of Security & Innovation, leading RT’s cybersecurity capabilities, technical systems, and security innovation.

    As Co-founder and Director of Security & Innovation at Resilience Technologies, Anthony Sule leads the development of the organization’s cybersecurity capabilities, technical systems, and security innovation.

    He brings over a decade of cybersecurity experience across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Before Resilience Technologies, he served as Security Director at the Center for Digital Resilience, where he developed security frameworks, products, and technical partnerships for major US-funded initiatives. He previously led digital security at Co-Creation Hub Africa, managing cybersecurity and gov-tech programs across Nigeria, Rwanda, and Kenya. He holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) credential.

    At Resilience Technologies, Anthony conceptualized and led the development of Zeroth Cloud, the organization’s threat-management platform, securing foundational support from the Open Technology Fund. His work focuses on translating emerging security challenges into practical infrastructure and tools for communities operating in high-risk digital environments.

    She brings over six years of experience across healthcare, finance, technology, and mission-driven organizations, with expertise spanning strategic communications, reputation management, public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and brand strategy. Her work focuses on translating complex ideas and technical expertise into clear narratives that build credibility, understanding, and trust.

    At Resilience Technologies, Imelda leads the organization’s communications function and has played a central role in strengthening its institutional positioning, brand governance, and public narrative as the organization expands its work across Africa. She has established the strategic and operational frameworks that guide how the organization communicates its expertise, engages stakeholders, and presents its work across platforms and audiences.

    Operations Manager

    Operations Manager, leading the internal systems, financial management, compliance, and operational processes behind RT’s programmes.

    As Operations Manager at Resilience Technologies, Precious Ihenetu leads the internal systems, financial management, compliance, and operational processes that support the organization’s programs across Africa.

    She brings over six years of experience across technology, civil society, and digital rights, with expertise in financial and program management. She holds an academic background in Economics, an ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business, and a Program DPro certification.

    At Resilience Technologies, Precious has overseen the implementation and reporting of 11 major projects and managed grants ranging from $10,000 to more than $200,000. Her work has supported programs reaching more than 200 partner organizations and beneficiaries, while coordinating international consultants, local partners, and cross-functional teams.

    She has also supported the organization’s international engagements, including RightsCon 2024, the Zeroth Cloud Summit at DRIF 2025, and the TechSoup AI Training of Trainers in Nairobi.
