To support justice innovators working on crucial tech-enabled justice solutions in Africa, we partnered with the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) Justice Innovation Accelerator to deliver a tailored digital security training program. Recognising that legal tech and justice-focused organisations face unique cyber risks, this initiative aimed to equip these innovators with the skills and strategies necessary to protect their digital assets and maintain secure operations.

Against this unique backdrop, we delivered a specialised training program covering prevalent cyber threats targeting civil society and social impact organisations, secure communication, device security and data protection.

Over the course of the program, the innovators engaged in interactive workshops and practical exercises. The training improved the digital resilience of participating innovators, enabling them to handle sensitive legal data securely and defend against sector-specific cyber threats. With these enhanced skills, participating justice innovators are now better equipped to continue their work while safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining operational integrity.

Looking Ahead:

We will continue to support the justice sector with comprehensive and regularly updated digital security training, enabling organisations within this community to remain resilient in the face of evolving security challenges.
