Job Summary:
The Communications and Marketing Associate will support the execution of Resilience Technologies’ marketing and communication initiatives. This role involves content creation, social media management, community engagement, email marketing, performance tracking, and assisting in promotional activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital security and civil society advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and post daily content across our social media platforms.
- Draft engaging social media posts and blog articles that align with the company’s messaging.
- Create short-form video content, including reels.
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Initiate and participate in relevant conversations within the community to enhance engagement.
- Support in drafting newsletters and announcements to subscribers.
- Assist in the planning and promotion of webinars, virtual events, or online workshops.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience managing social media platforms, creating content, and engaging with online communities.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to track performance and optimize content.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Passion for digital security, civil society engagement, and online advocacy.
