Context:
Resilience Technologies in partnership with the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) to deliver a targeted training program to CSOs in Nigeria. This initiative focused on building digital resilience to equip beneficiary organisations with the skills necessary to protect themselves and their communities from digital threats, attacks and disruptions.
Activities:
This intensive 5-day training program provided participants with comprehensive sessions covering critical areas such as:
- Digital Safety and Data Protection: Practical guidance on securing sensitive data and maintaining online privacy.
- Social Engineering Awareness: Training on identifying and mitigating social engineering attacks targeting CSOs.
- Digital Policies and Advocacy: Development of policies to promote a safe digital environment and encourage digital rights advocacy across the civic space.
The program included interactive workshops and hands-on exercises to ensure participants could apply these practices directly within their organisations.
This training significantly enhanced the digital resilience of civil society staff, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to implement robust security measures.

Through continuous improvement and expansion of our programs, we aim to strengthen digital resilience across civil society, empowering organisations to navigate evolving cyber threats with confidence and security.
